Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of the Riverstone Homeowners Association, Inc. is the governing body of the Association with responsibilities including policy making, planning, and oversight of day-to-day Association operations. As the decisions made by the Board have a long-term impact on Riverstone HOA residents, every Member is encouraged to take the time to carefully read candidates’ information posted below and participate in this year’s election.
Board Position Elections
The Board currently consists of three (3) Directors, as follows:
- Two (2) Directors, appointed from time-to-time by the Declarant (“Declarant Directors”); and
- One (1) Director, elected by the Class A Members of the Association (“Resident Director”).
There are eight (8) candidates running for the one (1) Resident Director position. The Owner of each Lot within Riverstone Homeowners Association, Inc. is entitled to vote for one (1) candidate. According to Riverstone’s governing documents, no Owner, whether one (1) or more Persons, shall have more than one (1) Membership per Lot owned.
Election Process
This year’s election is being administered by a third-party election services provider, Election Trust, and will open Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021 through 5:00pm on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021. Owners may vote one of four ways: electronically, mail-in paper ballot, proxy, or in person at the Association Office. Owners are encouraged to vote online as it will ultimately result in lowered election costs.
- If you choose to vote online, locate the Online Voting Pin found on the top right of your Voter Guide and use it to login at rshoa.votegrity.net. Online voting closes precisely at 5:00pm (CT) on November 23rd, 2021. Should you have any issues voting online, an Election Trust Voter Help Desk is available by emailing help@electiontrust.com.
- If you choose to vote by paper ballot or proxy, please make sure to follow the ballot instructions carefully and enclose your marked ballot in the provided PIN-Encoded Postage Paid Envelope. Ballots received after November 23rd will not be counted.
- If you choose to vote in person (by online ballot only*), you can do so at the Association Office, located at 18353 University Boulevard, Sugar Land, TX 77479 between the hours of 9:00am–4:00pm, Monday–Friday, now through November 23rd.

Results from the election will be announced at the Annual Meeting on December 7th.
The last day for voting is November 23rd, so don’t wait – vote NOW!
