As Seen In...
Our second annual Riverstone Wicked Fun Run was a blast and a half that encouraged everyone to get some exercise and raised $4,185 for charity.
More than 200 people laced up their running and walking shoes to support Sole Loved, a non-profit whose mission is to bring hope and joy to children one pair of shoes at a time. Participants received t-shirts, fruit and healthy snacks as they followed our trails to the finish line.
Prizes were awarded to those who placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd for men and women separately. Emre Ciftci, Fren-Mark Banes and Question Liland took top honors in the men’s 5K category. Sarah Raab, Jennifer Ibarra and Vania Brondani garnered the top three spots in the women’s category. You can view the full results here.
After the race, participants and their cheering squad were invited to an after-party featuring a photo booth, DJ, bounce houses, face painters and more.
We want to extend our thanks to all runners. Lacing up your shoes for our run means that children in need will be able to lace up new shoes for school.
We’ll see you all again next year!
