Join the Riverstone Doubles Tennis League!
This new league offers a fantastic opportunity for residents to enjoy friendly competition, enhance their skills, and connect with fellow community members. It's a perfect way to spend time on the courts, play regularly, and meet new tennis partners.
Divisions:
- Men's Doubles: 3.5 to 4.0
- Women's Doubles: 3.0 to 3.5
Location: Riverstone Racquet Club
Match Times:
- Women's matches will take place on Thursdays.
- Men's matches will be on Sundays.
- Final match times will be determined based on amount of teams participating.
Start Dates:
- Women's Doubles: October 23rd
- Men's Doubles: October 26th
Format: Doubles round-robin with fixed partners. We will use no-ad scoring to ensure matches stay on schedule.
Cost: $30 per person ($60 per team)
As a bonus for registering, each team will receive a special treat: one can of Pro Penn Marathon tennis balls!
Registration Period:
Registration will be open through the app for two weeks, starting Tuesday, September 30, and closing Tuesday, October 14.
**Teammates must register together! Please submit partners name when registering.**
Score Reporting: After each match, teams should report their scores to Giorgio, who will maintain weekly logs and manage matchups for the following week.
Prizes: Trophies will be awarded to the first and second place teams.
Eligibility: The league is open to Riverstone residents only.
