New among the growing number of services and retailers in Riverstone is Autumn Leaves of Riverstone, now open at 20313 South University Boulevard. The memory care residence is specially designed and built for those suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease and other memory impairments. The facility offers on-site licensed nurses with specialized expertise in dementia care, as well as life enrichment coordinators and day-stay and respite care programs.

Coming to Riverstone soon is Lake Olympia Animal Hospital, a popular veterinary clinic that has been in operation since 1980 in Missouri City. The new facility is expected to open in May at 20413 University Boulevard, and, in addition to expanded parking and boarding, the office also will have specialized services for canine rehabilitation and pain management, including two underwater canine treadmills, a land treadmill and laser therapy for pain management and arthritis.
