One night. Six multi-million dollar estates in Riverstone. Enjoy views of the new 110-acre Lake Riverstone and private tours of the estate homes, along with food and wine tastings featuring Tony's, REEF, Post Oak Grill, Ibiza, Kiran's and Aura. Wine pairings by leading wine expert Denman Moody.


Ticket price also includes: a souvenir Riedel Overture wine glass, a copy of ZAGAT's only 2008 Houston restaurant guide... and delicious tastings from some of the best restaurants in town.   This event is anticipated to sell-out quickly.


Denman Moody

Denman Moody is considered one of the leading wine experts in the nation and an authority worldwide. His expertise has been noted by The Washington Post, The Houston Chronicle, Food and Wine and Texas Monthly, and he has guided many in creating prestigious personal cellars, as well as enviable restaurant collections.

At 'An Evening of Exquisite Taste', Moody will pair choice wines with each restaurant's fare. Each guest will take home their Riedel Overture wine glass as a gift.

 


Tony's

From sashimi to souffle, Tony's has been referred to as "Houston's most innovative restaurant" with over 1,000 wines to choose from. With a premium location on Richmond Avenue, the swanky restaurant has, for decades, been known as a place to "be seen" while enjoying the delicious fare.

At Riverstone's 'An Evening of Exquisite Taste', Tony's will be serving tastings of Lobster Bisque and Crab and Crawfish Cakes with a Scallion Bianco Sauce.



REEF

Expertly prepared seafood- with Gulf Coast, Mediterranean and Asian influences- reflects culinary sophistication never seen before among Houston’s high-profile restaurant scene. Chef Bryan Caswell pairs a passion for pristinely fresh fish with the rainbow of flavors and textures of locally grown produce. Coupled with Caswell’s Jean Georges-taught culinary savvy and co-owner Bill Floyd, the resulting oceanic menu is cleverly diverse.


At Riverstone's 'An Evening of Exquisite Taste', Reef will serve tastings of Shrimp Satay with Sweet and Hot Dip.

At Riverstone’s 'An Evening of Exquisite Taste', Ibiza will serve tastings of beef tenderloin smoked over Spanish wine barrels, with Bruatta cheese, arugula and Buga olive pesto.

Voted in past years by Zagat as Best New Restaurant and winner of Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence, Kiran Verma pioneered a movement to bring her native food to a new level of quality, imagination and style. In the ensuing years, she introduced Indian food to scores of new people and raised the expectation of how and where it can be served. Suddenly, the passion with which diners in London and the cities across Europe expressed for the cuisine found an outlet in Houston.

At Riverstone's 'An Evening of Exquisite Taste', Kiran’s will serve tastings of Tandoor Leg of Roasted Lamb with Pear Chutney.


Aura

AURAlogo.jpg Aura was named the #4 Top New Restaurant in Houston by the Houston Chronicle in 2007. Chef Frédéric Perrier, a native of Lyon, France, first apprenticed at the age of fifteen under Georges Blanc, the renowned chef-owner of the eponymous restaurant in Vonnas. Chef Perrier splashed onto the Houston culinary scene with Grille 5115, which he co-owned and served as Executive Chef. Renowned for his mastery of French classical and bistro cooking, Chef Perrier has been widely recognized for his creativity and inventive nature by introducing Southwestern, South American, and Asian influences to his cooking. His vast ability to interpret dishes for the local region has garnered him a fierce and loyal following.

At Riverstone's 'An Evening of Exquisite Taste', Aura's will present a White Chocolate and Raspberry Bread Pudding.
