Upscale Highland Home Touts Spacious Living Areas

October 14, 2016

With the inclusion of options to extend the bedrooms, family room and covered patio, this Highland Homes’ design at 6518 Nicholas Trail in Riverstone offers plenty of room to roam.

The 3,839-square-foot, five-bedroom home, is the builder’s popular Plan 208, which includes a study, formal dining room and a three-car garage. The airy family room has been expanded, offering more space for informal gatherings. A cathedral ceiling is anchored by a corner fireplace and oversized windows flood the room with morning light. The island kitchen gleams with stainless steel appliances and offers enough preparation space to concoct an impressive holiday brunch. Children can enjoy waffles and bacon in the sunny breakfast nook, while adults sip mimosas on the covered patio.

The second floor has been expanded, as well, with a large entertainment room that can be outfitted as a media room or children’s playroom. An adjacent game room gives everyone a place to unwind. Both bedrooms have been enlarged so children have room for desks and computers. A guest room downstairs provides a comfortable retreat for visitors. Owners have their own oasis, an extended master suite with a deluxe bath, including a soaking tub, separate shower and enormous walk-in closet. Priced from the $530,000s, the home sports an upgraded brick-and-stone exterior situated on an oversized homesite.

Highland Homes offers 13 designs in Riverstone’s Lost Creek neighborhood. Homes are situated on large 65-foot homesites, many with greenbelt and water views. Priced from the $430,000s, designs range from 2,400 to nearly 3,700 square feet.

Riverstone offers room to roam as well. The 3,700-acre master-planned community boasts 200 acres of lakes and another 500 acres dedicated to open spaces and recreation. Residents will have more than 20 miles of trails to explore upon completion. Even dogs can run free at a 3.5-acre leash-free dog park.
