Parks and Trails: let's go play!

Parks & Trails in Riverstone | Master Planned Community in Riverstone

Parks are interspersed throughout the Riverstone landscape, offering residents a chance to enjoy the Texas sunshine in picturesque surroundings. Many of the parks feature play structures where neighborhood children can slide, climb and swing as parents watch and visit. Other areas feature seating amid garden spaces and along waterways, giving residents a chance to watch the wildlife and enjoy a sunset.

There even is a park devoted to canine family members, a 3.5-acre space where dogs can romp leash-free.

Connecting the parks and neighborhoods is a series of trails through the community. Riverstone will have more than 20 miles of trails upon completion, creating a pedestrian-friendly environment for active-minded residents.

SWIMMING: RESORT-STYLE LIVING AT RIVERSTONE

Riverstone Waterpark

Riverstone residents enjoy resort-style living each summer as community pools offer a chance to stay cool and relax with family and friends. Residents have use of several pools, including a lushly landscaped swimming complex overlooking one of many community lakes. Rock waterfalls add to the pool’s ambiance.

A second pool at the Creekstone Village Recreation Center adds to the recreational opportunities, as does the water park at The Club at Riverstone

FITNESS CENTER & Tennis at riverstone

The fitness center at The Club at Riverstone provides residents with top-of-the-line equipment and plenty of options to stay fit. Helping them along that road to good health is fitness director Blake Crawford. Crawford  holds a degree in Kinesiology from Sam Houston State University and is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He has introduced an array of group classes and personal training at The Club at Riverstone to help people reach and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Tennis fans don’t have far to travel to practice their serves and forehands — Riverstone offers several community tennis courts for resident use. Because the courts are lighted, residents can play at their leisure, catching a late game at the end of the day. The number of tennis courts in Riverstone increases this summer, when eight new lighted courts open at The Club at Riverstone, a 17-acre recreation complex.

Tennis lessons at Riverstone are provided by Giorgio Botto, a Certified Tennis Professional, who holds a degree from the Professional Tennis Management program at Tyler Junior College. To learn more about Giorgio Botto and what he offers for Riverstone residents, visit his website here.
