First Colony library offers tax & computer help

Area residents befuddled by their taxes can receive free help Tuesday, April 17, at the First Colony Library, 2121 Austin Parkway.

Members of the AARP will offer free tax preparation 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the library. Those seeking assistance should bring the previous year’s tax return and all current information.

Assorted computer classes will be offered at the library 10 a.m. Thursday, April 26. Class participants will learn advanced features of Microsoft Excel. Students of this class should already be familiar with computers and basic Excel functions.
